DIRECTIONS to 45 Mountain Road, Lempster, NH
FROM THE NORTH(From Newport, NH) -- Take Route 10 South out of Newport, NH. Go through
Goshen to Lempster. Observe Speed Limits!!! When you pass the Green Houses on the left, Lempster Garage on Left, then you will come
to Mountain Road on Left.(There is a blinking light warning you of the upcoming intersection). Turn Left on to Mountain Road.(The
Church will be on your right before you turn.) Go past Cemetery, and partway around the Pond. 45 Mountain Road is on the left across
from the pond. There’s a brown post at end of Drive that says 45.
FROM THE SOUTH(From Keene, NH) -- Take Route 10 North from Keene,
NH. (You Pick up Route 10 North off of the Route 9 Bypass) Go through Gilsum, Marlow and come to Lempster. Observe Speed Limits!!!!
When you pass the Jolly Roger Motocross park, you’re almost there. Go past Lempster General Store on right, Past Fulton Service Station.
The next intersection you come to is Mountain Road. There’s a Church on the Northwest Corner, Town hall on Right and Library on Left.
TURN RIGHT onto Mountain Road(Just past Town Hall). Go past Cemetery and part way around the Pond. 45 Mountain Road is on the left
across from the pond. There’s a brown post at the end of the Driveway that says 45.
FROM THE WEST (From CLAREMONT, NH) -- Take
the UNITY ROAD from Claremont. Follow it as it twists and winds from Claremont, Up steep hill Past Sullivan County Home Road, through
Unity, into Lempster. Keep Following it, Past Silver Mtn. Grange in Lempster. Road Curves to left, past a little monument and up a
hill past Fire Company. Keep going till you reach Route 10. Church will be on your left. Cross over Route 10. You are now on Mountain
Road. Go past Cemetery and part way around the Pond. 45 Mountain Road is on the left across from the pond. There’s a brown post at
the end of the Driveway that says 45.
FROM THE EAST (From Hillsborough, NH area) -- From Route 9 on the Southwest side of Hillsborugh,
take Route 31 to Washington. (When you turn onto Route 31, you will pass the Franklin Pierce Homestead on the right). Stay on Route
31 until you come up a steep hill into the center of the village of Washington. The town hall and church will be on your right. You
will pass the Washington store on your left. Almost immediately you will see the Washington Library on your right. STRAIGHT AHEAD
you will see a road. This is Lempster Mountain Road. Take this road. DO NOT GO AROUND THE CURVE to the right. If you go past the Washington
Post Office you have missed Lempster Mt. Road. Follow Lempster Mtn Road for three miles, past the Fire station the left, Llama farm
on the right, Long Pond Road on left, past ponds on the right. You will come to the Top of Lempster Mountain and descend the mountain
as the road curves to the right. At the BOTTOM of the Mountain is 45 Mountain road on the right. Dodge Pond will be on your left.
